Eli’s 15th Annual Father’s Day Bike Ride

Eli’s IMG_1536celebrated Father’s Day by hosting our 15th Annual Father’s Day Bike Ride! We were delighted to have almost 300 bike riders at Eli’s Cheesecake Bakery Café. Our guests enjoyed a complimentary continental breakfast served by the Eli’s Cheesecake Team. Riders received a pre-ride inspection from Rudy’s Cycle and Fitness and a safety review from the Bicycle Ambassadors. The riders biked 10 miles through Portage Park, Wright College’s campus, and Harwood Heights. After a leisurely bike ride through the neighborhood, everyone enjoyed a free slice of Eli’s cheesecake.

A huge thanks to Rudy’s Cycle and Fitness, the City of Chicago’s Bicycle Ambassadors, the Chicago Police Department, and the Harwood Heights Police Department for making this a safe family event! Save the date for the next Father’s Day Bike Ride on Sunday, June 21, 2020. We look forward to seeing you next year!

Eli’s Farmer’s Market Grand Opening 2019

The grand opening of Eli’s Farmers Market was a success through both rain and shine! Nichols Farm and Orchard, Patz Maple and Honey Farms, Wreaths by Judy, Wright College, and other vendors set up their tents outside Eli’s Cheesecake World as the community stopped to shop, visit, and dine. From fresh produce to bird houses and everything in between, there was a wide variety of products and something for everyone. After shopping, families enjoyed breakfast or lunch under the tent on the patio or in the cafe.

Throughout the summer we look forward to hosting the Chicago High School for Agricultural Sciences, Nichol’s Farm, and several other vendors as we bring together the Chicago community in our backyard.
