Held every Thursday starting in mid-June, the Eli’s Cheesecake/Wright College Farmers Market has developed a loyal clientele of market shoppers and vendors over its 10 year history. Unique for its educational component with Wright College, the Chicago High School for Agricultural Sciences and the Master Gardeners of the University of Illinois Extension and its social service partners in New Horizon Center for the Developmentally Disabled, Vaughn High School, Bright Endeavors and Urban Meadows, Eli’s hosted a celebration to thank all the partners and Chad Nichols of Nichols Farms for his strong support and participation.
