One of our great traditions of the Saturday of the Magnificent Lights Festival is Lights Festival Lane which is held at Pioneer Court, 401 North Michigan Avenue.

Now in its 17th year, the Magnificent Mile Lights Festival has grown from a small procession to light the Lights on Michigan Avenue to a season long celebration that is highlighted with entertainment and activites at Lights
Festival Lane.

Eli’s partners with the students and staff of the Chicago High School for Agricultural Sciences to raise funds and non-perishable food for the Greater Chicago Food Depository while offering complimentary Eli’s Cheesecake

Michael Funk of the Chicago High School for Agricultural Sciences joins Eli’s Big Slice in welcoming guests to Lights Festival Lane. Eli’s Cheesecake Decorating at Lights Festival Lane has become a family tradition of the tradition. This year, over 10,000 slices were decorated.

Lucille Shaw, Master Ag Teacher, and Dr, Joan White, Animal Science Instructor, help the students while the dedicated volunteers from the Greater Chicago Food Depository accepted donations of money and non-perishable
food while giving an Eli’s Cheesecake slice or whole cheesecake as a thank you gift.

We had a great team of student volunteers from the Chicago High School for Agricultural Sciences help children and families custom decorate their slices of Eli’s Cheesecake.

The Magnificent Mile Lights Festival would not be possible without the financial support and contribution of people by the Harris Bank, the presenting sponsor of the Magnificent Mile Lights Festival. We appreciate the
support of the Harris volunteers on the left posing with Eli’s Big Slice after supporting the Greater Chicago Food Depository with a monetary donation and on the right, by decorating slices of Eli’s Cheesecake.

Lights Festival Lane is in the shadows of the iconic Wrigley Building and is adjacent to the Harris Stage which featured the Cheetah Girls, Justin Roberts and Jason Mraz. Visitors to Lights Festival Lane are greeted by
Hubert the Harris Lion created out of Lego.
