Celebrating its 12th Anniversary, the Eli’s Cheesecake Festival
has grown to become the country’s largest Cheesecake Festival. From the
beginning, the Festival has benefitted the Greater Chicago Food Depository and
the New Horizon Center for the Developmentally Disabled.
The Eli’s Cheesecake Festival is a team effort of Eli’s
Associates, Volunteers, Sponsors and Community members who work together to
raise funds, awareness and non-perishable foods. Eli’s efforts are under the
direction of co-chairs, Brian Cravens and Sarah Zupancic.
The Eli’s Cheesecake Festival has raised over $120,000 for
the New Horizon Center and over 16 tons of non-perishable foods for the Greater
Chicago Depository. Above, Carol Kilcoyne, Executive Director of New Horizon and
Michelle DiSanto, Food Drive Coordinator for the Food Depository thank all the
supporters in attendance.
The Eli’s Cheesecake Festival is a team effort of over 70 Eli’s
Associates and 200 volunteers. This year we recognized the children of Eli’s
Pastry Chef Juanita Chajoin and the daughter of Eli’s Nancy Hermes for their
“over and above” effort as volunteers at the Festival.
