Join us at the May 5, 2008 ACF Windy City Chefs meeting for our third annual Student Cake Decorating Contest hosted by Eli’s Cheese Cake. If you are a High School or College Culinary Student try your hand at this exciting competition. This year’s contest theme will be “Baby Shower” and we are excited to be partnering with the ACF Windy City Chef Chapter and Eli’s Cheesecake. For our
Educational Seminar during our judging period of our Cake Competition, we are proud to have a presentation of liquor/wine pairing with cheesecake.
5:00 – 6:00 pm Contestants time to set up cake (no working on the premises is allowed)
6:00 pm Judging begins
6:00 pm Demonstration (all are welcomed)
Educational Seminar presented by Diane Kelly from Southern Wine & Spirits. Learn the technique of
pairing savory cheese and sweet cheesecake with liquor and wine.
7:00 pm ACF meeting (all are welcomed)
7:30 pm Winners will be announced

Rules and Regulations:
- Must present a 3 tiered, dummy cake at the competition.
- Cake must have a 6” cake dummy, 10” cake dummy and 12” cake dummy layers.
Tiers can be of any shape.
- The total dimensions of the cake (including decoration) can not exceed 18” w
x 18”d x 22”h
