The Atrium at Wilbur Wright College was the perfect location to host the Business Works Seminar sponsored by the Department of Business Affairs & Licensing of the City of Chicago. The Wright Brothers were the entrepreneurs that revolutionized our economy with their first flight on December 17, 2003. It was in 1934 that Wright College opened and was named in honor of Wilbur Wright. In 2003, Wright hosted the 100th Anniversary of Flight Celebration in Chicago and Eli’s Cheesecake created a very special cake in honor of the occasion.

Entrepreneurship has been growing at Wright College under the leadership of Courtney Spino and Kenneth Brown. Here Courtney and Kenneth celebrate the event with Eli’s President Marc Schulman and Wright President Charles Guengerich.

Kenneth Brown was recognized by Mary Lou Eisenhaur, the Acting
Director of the Department of Business Affairs & Licensing, for his
leadership in the Entrepreneurship Club at Wright and for the success of the
Wright College entry in the SIFE (Students in Free Enterprise)
Competition.
