Each summer, value our partnership with Mayor Daley’s Bicycle Ambassadors and
the Chicago Bicycle Federation. Mayor Daley has a goal for Chicago to be the
most bicycle friendly city in America and the beginning of Spring is a great
time to start exploring the City’s neighborhoods and lakefront parks via
bike.

If you will be in Chicago over Memorial Day Weekend, don’t miss Bike the
Drive. For that Sunday morning, Lake Shore Drive is closed for its entire length
and the Chicago Bicycle Federation has both a 15 mile and 30 mile ride plan for
the day.

When I read about Bike the Drive, I wondered why we couldn’t have a bike ride
sponsored by Eli’s. Under the leadership of my associates, Debbie Osman and Mary
Gale, Eli’s Cheesecake, together with Rudy’s Cycle Shop and Wright College, are
sponsoring our first annual Father’s Day Bike Ride on Sunday, June 19th. The
description below is from the online Bike Chicago Brochure at www.bikechicago2005.org. Check it out
and come ride with us on Father’s Day.
