At Eli’s Cheesecake, we are very proud of our long term support of the Chicago
Humanities Festival. For several weeks in the Fall, Chicagoans have a choice of
hundreds of presentations, performances and lectures at locations throughout
Chicago. Available for only $5 per person, this is a great way to learn from the
best in the country.

The theme for this year’s 18th Annual Festival is “The Climate of Change.” We are delighted that Wright College is a a participant, the only City College of Chicago participating and the only northwest side institution, hosting a presentation by Richard Fishman, Professor of Art and Director of the Creative Arts Council on November 8th. The topic is “The Elm Tree Project,” a collaborative study by students and Brown University and RISD on the “afterlife” of a historic elm on the Brown campus.

Following the presentation, Eli’s and Wright will host a dessert reception in honor of Professor Fishman.
