Pleasant Hill is a village in Pike County, Illinois with a population of just over 1,000 people. It is the home of the Pike County Fair as well as the Bi-State Annual Demolition Derby. Pleasant HIll High School also has an outstanding FFA Chapter and was the high school for Illinois State FFA 2004-2005 Vice President Cliff Dolbeare.

Pleasant Hill is also the home of two of Eli’s most dedicated fans: Don and Florence Guthrie. On Easter Sunday of 2007, Don Guthrie celebrated his 90th birthday and the Guthrie’s celebrated their 67th Wedding Anniversary. The Guthrie’s are regular mail order customers of Eli’s talking regularly on the phone with Eli’s Andi Miles. We are very happy that they greet their many friends and family members slices of Eli’s Cheesecake.
