History was made at Wright College on Wednesday evening as the Wright Entrepreneurship Club hosted its first Business Idea Competition in the Wright Theatre.
Our thanks to Entrepreneurship Club Faculty Advisors, Susie Bonner and Wayne Arnold, and to Kathy Johnson, of Continuing Education in Business, who worked together with the student volunteers and teams to put together a very professional competition. Also our thanks to Banco Popular for their generous underwriting of the event. We also thank Wright President Charles Guengerich who demonstrated his commitment to entrepreneurship at Wright by sending Club representatives to the national Collegiate Entrepreneurs Convention in Orlando.
We also congratulate Club President, Alfonso Ruclas and all the members of the Entrepreneurship Club.This has been a great first year for the Entrepreneurship Club at Wright and we wish them great continued success.
The first presenter was Darnell Shields of Urban Reach.
Over 100 students, faculty, staff and friends attended the Competition in the theatre.
