At Eli’s, our first commitment is to education for our people and in the food industry. For that reason, we are again delighted to partner with the Chicago Foodservice Marketing Club in hosting at 3rd Annual Taste of Chicago’s Culinary Schools at the Eli’s Cheesecake Bakery on Friday evening, February 29th. This event highlights the skills of top culinary students from the Cooking & Hospitality Institute of Chicago, the Illinois Institute of Art, Kendall College, Joliet Junior College, Robert Morris College and the Washburne Culinary Institute of the City Colleges of Chicago.
Desserts, Beverages & Wine are all Illinois affair with desserts provided by the pastry chefs of The Eli’s Cheesecake Company, beer from Goose Island and wines from members of the Illinois Grape Growers and Vintners Association.
We are delighted that our emcee will once again by Wayne Johnson, the host of Wayne’s Weekend on NBC 5 Chicago.
The cost is only $50 per person with all proceeds going for scholarships for students at the participating schools and to the Greater Chicago Food Depository.
