Our thanks to Eli’s very talented Jolene Worthington and Laurel Boger for representing us at Feast of the Senses in River North on Thursday, June 22nd. Over 20 art galleries in the River North area were teamed up with prominent Chicago chefs and a winery or brewery. Funds raised from the evening were donated to the Terra Madre Hurricane Katrina Fund, to help restore local agriculture and gastronomic heritage, and the Children’s Art Program at the New Orleans Museum of Art.
Eli’s Cheesecake was served in the Belloc Lowndes Fine Art Gallery, the gallery for event organizer and Slow Food Chicago co-founder, Portia Belloc Lowndes. We were honored to be joined at the Gallery by Alinea, named as one of the top new restaurants in the United States, and The House of Glunz, a leader in the Chicago wine industry, for over 100 years.
