FMI Show 2007 in Chicago–Eli’s Shows our Desserts to the World

It is our pleasure to welcome customers from around the United States and around the world to Chicago in the month of May–first for the FMI Show and the US Food Export Showcase and then two weeks later for the National Restaurant Association Show.

This is a year of change as “The Power of Five” will become “The Power of Three” in 2008 as the FMI Show and the United Fresh Marketplace move to Las Vegas.

Eli’s was proud to be part of the Illinois Pavillion in the US Food Export Showcase. Our thanks to Chuck Hartke, the Director, and Kim Hamiltonm, Marketing Representative, for the Illinois Department of Agriculture.

The FMI Show attracts buyers from around the world and around the block. Here Marc Schulman meets his local grocer, Dave Potash and associates of Potash Markets, on Chicago’s near north side.

Marc Schulman thanks Josh Van Roekel of Northwestern College in Orange City, Iowa who was an intern at Eli’s for the Winter-Spring Term. Josh is graduating this week from Northwestern College and came to Chicago as part of
Chicago Semester. Over his tenure at Eli’s, Josh was a valued member of our marketing team and made a great contribution to our success.
