Enjoy Great Chicago Places & Spaces on May 18 to the 20th

The weekend of May 18th is one of the busiest times in the year for us at Eli’s. That weekend, Chicago will host the National Restaurant Association Show, the largest restaurant industry show in the country. The year 2007 will mark our 23rd consecutive year participating and we are delighted to welcome our most important industry associates to Chicago.

Also that weekend is Great Chicago Places & Spaces, an event designed by Mayor Daley and the Mayor’s Office of Special Events, to give Chicagoans and visitors the opportunity to celebrates the myriad of interesting and unique spots throughout Chicago, honoring the city’s architecture and design heritage.

Eli’s Cheesecake proud to participate in Great Chicago Places & Spaces

One of the greatest events of the year in Chicago is
Great Chicago Places & Spaces presented by the Mayor’s Office of Special
Events and our great customer, Starbucks. Over the weekend of May 20th to the
22nd, Chicagoans and visitors are able to choose from a wide variety of tours,
featuring its architecture, neighborhoods and unique places. For information and

We are delighted that Eli’s is again participating in
this weekend. A description of the activity is dsecribed below, which includes
an introduction by me, a bakery tour and demonstration, a cheesecake sampling
and the opportunity to decorate your own cake. Registration is available only

Celebrate a summer of culinary events with this long time Taste
of Chicago favorite. Each guest will sample a number of Eli’s famous cheesecake
flavors and decorate a 7″ Eli’s Cheesecake to take home.
Low-heeled, rubber-soled shoes required. For safety reasons, no
wheelchairs, strollers, canes or walkers are permitted in the production
