Eli’s was delighted to host the St. Patrick’s Day Parade Queen and her Court, along with Green River Soda on March 15th. The queen and her court took pictures with many of Eli’s customers and even got the chance to decorate their own Eli’s Original Plain Cheesecake! The court was also able to go next door to visit our neighbors at the New Horizons Center where they met, sang and took pictures with many of the students. It was a great experience and the students at New Horizons, as well as everyone at Eli’s, was happy they were able to come.

St. Patrick’s Day Queen Visit
Today we were thankful to have the 2009 St. Patrick’s Day Parade Queen Julie Popp and her court visit us at the bakery today. While she was here she and her court spoke to the morning tour as well as taking time out to pose for pictures with some customers and bakery associates. In addition to her visit here, she made the short walk to visit our neighbors at New Horizons to see some of the children as well as see some of the efforts that are being done in conjunction with Eli’s Cheesecake Co. While she was here, representatives from Sethness Greenleaf stopped by and donated some Green River to the café for guests to sample. Thanks to everyone that made this day a success. We hope that we can have an even better turnout next year on March 12, 2010.
