Each Thursday during the summer, Eli’s Cheesecake & Wright College invite a food industry leader to address students from the Chicago High School of Agricultural Sciences about important issues in sustainable agriculture and entrepreneurship in the food industry.

This Thursday we were delighted to welcome Camilla Nielsen, the Chairman of the Board of Nielsen Massey Vanillas. Nielsen Massey is a long term supplier to Eli’s and is known worldwide for its quality vanilla and other flavors. It was great for the CHSAS students to learn that this soon to be 100 year old business continues to be driven by quality using processes that have been abandoned by their competition as being too slow.
